Stake Watford FC Sponsor

Watford FC has announced betting website Stake.com as its new shirt sponsor.

The football club and cryptocurrency casino and sportsbook Stake.com has agreed to a multi-year sponsorship agreement for the 2021/22 season, which sees Stake.com act as the football club’s shirt sponsor when Watford FC returns to the Premier League.

According to GamblingInsider, the partnership was aptly paid for in cryptocurrency. Under the partnership, Stake will run cryptocurrency-themed promotions, including a Dogecoin giveaway, on its international website, and will run other promotions and giveaways on its Stake.co.uk website, which is set to launch in the coming months.

Scott Duxbury, the Watford FC Chairman, said in a statement: “We are thrilled to welcome Stake as our principal shirt sponsor ahead of the 2021/22 season. This will be an extremely exciting campaign for the club as we return to the Premier League and we couldn’t be happier to join with a partner who matches our ambitious outlook and commitment to innovation in order to achieve success.”

Mladen Vuckovic, the Stake.co.uk CEO, added: “The past few years have seen consistent growth for Stake and this partnership with Watford marks the next chapter for our company. We could not be more thrilled to partner with a club that has such immense history yet still a true innovative spirit. We’re committed to becoming a key part of the Watford family and have a number of exciting initiatives planned for fans over the coming months.”

The news comes after betting operator Spreadex was named as Burnley FC’s new shirt sponsor, with the gambling website’s logo worn by Burnley FC’s players on their home, away, and third kits. The news also comes as the UK government continues its review of the Gambling Act 2005, of which a ban on gambling sports sponsorships is “likely”.

Microgaming Announces New Dita Von Teese Branded Video Slot

Finally, game developer Microgaming has announced the launch of a new branded video slot, Burlesque By Dita, which is based on the burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese.

The brand new game was developed by Aurum Signature Studios in partnership with Eurostar Studios, and it uses a 5×3 layout with 243 paylines. The slot has an RTP of 94.03% and it has high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent big wins when playing.

According to Microgaming, the game has numerous special features, including a unique Pleasure Wild, which turns up to five reels Wild in the base game. Meanwhile, collecting three or more Scatter Symbols earns a VIP ticket for one of four Free Spins modes where each spin whisks players to different venues.

What’s more, there’s also the Queen Of Burlesque feature where feathers can randomly turn symbols into up to 6x multipliers, and there’s the Moulin Rich feature, where random symbols are transformed into Wild symbols to help create more wins.

Andrew Booth, the Director of Games at Microgaming, said in a statement: “Dita Von Teese is an icon and we were thrilled to get the opportunity to work with Aurum Signature Studios and Eurostar Studios on such a glamorous slot. With a glitzy soundtrack and entertaining gameplay, we can’t wait to see players enjoy this opulent slot.”

Madelein Özok, the Head of Aurum Signature Studios, added: “We’ve had so much fun working on Burlesque By Dita and teaming up with Microgaming and Eurostar Studios on this exciting new slot that shines a spotlight on the Queen of Burlesque. This slot is full of rich features that give players a front-row seat to an unmissable showcase and wins of up to 12,000x their bet.”

Burlesque By Dita is packed with spectacular features and glamorous visuals, providing non-stop action and excitement, including four free spin bonuses for players to choose from, each with its own fabulous feature set.”
