Pragmatic Play Launches Dedicated Live Casino Studio For Unibet

Pragmatic Play Unibet Live Casino

Pragmatic Play has announced the launch of a dedicated studio for the Kindred Group’s Unibet casino.

The leading game developer launched the dedicated live casino studio earlier this week, allowing Unibet customers to play Pragmatic Play’s live casino titles with Unibet branding. The studio, which is based in Bucharest, supports the latest 4K video technology and immersive sound systems.

Pragmatic Play’s current live casino lineup includes Blackjack, Roulette, Mega Wheel, Sic Bo, Baccarat, and the upcoming Dragon Tiger game too. All of the studio’s live casino content is available in numerous variations and languages, and each offers quick and easy bets, detailed game statistics, and great sound effects and animations.

Pragmatic Play has praised the launch as another milestone for the development studio and described the Kindred Group as “one of the largest digital entertainment companies” in the gambling industry, with its Unibet flagship brand attracting hundreds of players across Europe.

Yossi Barzely, the Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said in a statement: “Yet another landmark moment occurs for Pragmatic Play as we take a dedicated studio live with Unibet. Dedicated environments ensure that players would have an incredibly bespoke gaming experience as they enjoy some of the most engaging Live Casino games in the industry, and we’re extremely proud of hitting this milestone.”

David Robertson, the Head of Casino and Gaming at Kindred, added: “Pragmatic Play’s Live Casino portfolio provides amazing gaming products built to the highest standards and we’re very pleased to be able to offer them all to our Unibet customers through a dedicated studio which has been tailored to our needs. It is a real statement of the closeness of our relationship, and we can’t wait to see how our players enjoy the dedicated environment.”

Pragmatic Play Celebrates First Week Of Updated Drops & Wins Promotion

Pragmatic Play also celebrated the first week of its updated Drops & Wins promotion, which has been made available to players all over the world.

Last week, Pragmatic Play launched an updated version of its popular Drops & Wins promotion, which allows gamers to win a share of a €500,000 jackpot pool on both slots and live casino games each month. The updated promotion launched on June 3rd and will run through to November 17th, with the entire prize pool funded by Pragmatic Play.

The promotion is managed by Pragmatic Play and it allows operators to run specialised tournaments and prize drops on Pragmatic Play slots and live casino content such as Roulette, Mega Wheel, Blackjack, and Baccarat too. It’s been praised for increasing player retention and engagement, as well as for improving operator partnerships.

Yossi Barzely said of the promotion: “Last week marked a hugely exciting time for us as we launched our biggest Drops & Wins promotion, with a whopping €/£7,000,000 up for grabs. We’re always looking to enhance the gameplay experience for our fans, and what better way to do that than by giving away €/£1,000,000 every month for the next seven months. Any spin can lead to huge rewards, and we can’t wait to give something back to players!”

BetVictor Adds Playzido Video Slots

Leading gambling operator BetVictor has this week added Playzido games to its website after sticking a content partnership with the independent game developer.

Playzido’s games have now been made available with BetVictor through Pariplay’s Fusion aggregation platform. Some of the games that have launched with the website include Playzido’s exclusive Deal Or No Deal titles, as well as its selection of MegaWays-based slots, and BetVictor will also offer all of Playzido’s upcoming content too.

Sergiu Turcut, the Head of Commercial at BetVictor, said in a statement: “We are always keen to improve our portfolio and subsequently offer an enhanced experience to our customers. Playzido has an impressive catalogue, ranging from branded titles to a large selection of MegaWays. We are very excited about this collaboration and about Playzido’s ability to deliver unique content.”

Stuart Banks, the Managing Director of Playzido, added: “It’s great to be able to add BetVictor to our growing operator portfolio, an established brand with a huge history. We can’t wait to see our original and branded titles on their site, we are confident that they will prove a popular addition with their players and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Norwich City FC Terminates BK8 Sponsorship

Also this week, Norwich City has announced the termination of its sponsorship with betting firm BK8 after a string of negative feedback and criticism from fans and partners.

The football club announced the sponsorship agreement earlier this week but came under fire several hours later after fans uncovered sexually provocative content on BK8’s social media accounts. Norwich City forced the operator to remove the posts, and BK8 issued an apology.

In an announcement shared today, Norwich City explained that it had anticipated “some negative responses” to the partnership. Issuing an apology, the club acknowledged that BK8’s marketing and their affiliates “do not align with those of the football club”, and it promised a future update on a replacement shirt sponsor.

Norwich City’s Chief Operating Officer Ben Kensell said in the statement: “We have worked hard to build trust and engagement through our countless initiatives with our supporters and partners. We place huge value on our open and honest relationships with our community and supporters.

“As a self-financed club, there is always a fine balance between generating the revenue levels required to help maintain the model, whilst working within our visions and values. On this occasion, we made an error of judgement. Our standards were not at the levels we demand of our football club.”

He continued: “We can now only apologise to our supporters and former players, Grant Holt and Darren Eadie, who were across the BK8 promotional launch campaign, for any offence caused. We remain highly committed to diversity and equality across our football club and its community. We want to continue to embed a highly inclusive culture across the club, together with an accessible and welcoming environment free of demeaning and discriminatory behaviours.”
