PlayOJO Launches Brand New £10M ‘Thumbs Up’ Ad Campaign In UK
PlayOJO has launched a brand new £10 million ad campaign in the United Kingdom.
The popular online casino, which we’ve reviewed here, launched back in 2017 and promoted itself as a “fair” and no wagering online casino, sparking mass interest within the online gambling sector.
Now, the casino site’s new £10 million ad campaign sees PlayOJO continue promoting itself as the “only truly fair” online casino due to its lack of wagering requirements and no minimum or maximum withdrawals.
The new advert ‘Thumbs Up OJO’ will appear across television, radio and digital platforms throughout the UK. Directed by Djawid Hakimyar, who previously directed ads for Purple Bricks and Mercedes, and features Royal Shakespeare Company actor Joshua McCord as Tom.
In the advertisement, Tom, a regular PlayOJO player, walks around town with a giant thumbs up that represent his feelings of happiness for being treated fairly at PlayOJO. Throughout the ad, PlayOJO promotes their lack of wagering and limits regarding bonuses.
What They Say
Peter Bennett, the Head of Brand Marketing at PlayOJO, said in a statement: “Our latest integrated campaign reinforces our core brand proposition that PlayOJO is the fair online casino with no wagering requirements, where bonuses are paid in cash with no restrictions and by giving money back, we give players control of their money.”
He continued: “We have pulled out all the stops with this campaign, bringing on board a highly successful director and established actor to really bring our messaging to life, creating a style of advertising that sets us apart from our competitors in a way that we hope will appeal to players across the UK.
“We are backing this campaign with significant media spend in order to continue to build our brand recognition to help achieve our ambition to become the UK’s most recognised online casino brand by 2012.”
