NetEnt Announces New Sequel To Popular Online Slot ‘Dead Or Alive’

Dead or Alive

Leading game provider NetEnt has announced a sequel to one of their most popular online slots.

The game developer revealed this week that they will be releasing a sequel to their 2009 slot Dead Or Alive. Set in the Wild West, the game is one of NetEnt’s most popular slots because it’s high variance and gives players a chance to earn large wins.

Fans have been urging NetEnt to release a sequel to the game, and they’ve finally opened up about a new game.

On the official NetEnt website, the game developers revealed that Dead Or Alive 2 will be released on April 23, though they remained tight-lipped on Dead Or Alive 2’s gameplay.

However, they did insist that they worked with experts from the player community to ensure that the game delivers the best graphics, mechanise, action and sound that fans have been asking for. They also worked with slot streamer LetsGiveitASpin and CasinoGrounds to get insight from players.

NetEnt also insists that the “DNA” of the original game will be found in the sequel, along with several “thrilling upgrades and twists”.

While the firm refused to give out any additional details of the game, they did suggest fans to keep an eye out for more information.

The original Dead Or Alive was released in May 2009 to critical acclaim. The game is a five-reel, nine payline slot based on a Wild West gunslinger. The slot is packed with features including Wild Substitutions, Scatters and Free Spins which also feature Sticky Wilds, giving you the chance to make larger wins when playing.

Since then, NetEnt has released a plethora of other popular slots including Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst, Finn and the Swirly Spin, Hotline, Spinata Grande, Lost Relics, Warlords, Aloha! Cluster Pays, Berry Burst, Asgardian Stones and so many more.

Meanwhile, NetEnt has also been busy branching out into the United States. In October last year, the firm announced a partnership with Penn National Gaming, ensuring that NetEnt’s collection of slot games become available on Penn Interactive Gaming’s Hollywood Casino website when online gambling is legalised in the state of Pennsylvania.
