NetEnt has made a series of new announcements this week as the ICE London 2020 event kicks off.

The popular game provider, which is known for its Gonzo’s Quest and Dead Or Alive II slots, has announced a brand new partnership as well as two new branded video slots. The news comes as gambling conference and industry event ICE London 2020 kicks off at the Excel Center in the English capital.

Today (February 5), NetEnt announced that it had struck a partnership with FashionTV Gaming Group, the licensor for the FashionTV brand in gambling. Under the agreement, NetEnt will produce a video slot based on the fashion and style channel’s hit song ‘I Want To Be A Trillionaire’ featuring Anja J of FashionTV. Unfortunately, NetEnt has yet to announce what the video slot entails but, knowing the develop, fans will get to enjoy a jam-packed game with dozens of features as well as jaw-dropping graphics.

Bryan Upton, NetEnt’s Director of Games, said in a statement: “FashionTV has something different to offer the online casino sector – from its brand identity, its reach, the power of its global network, and its understanding of how to create engaging and unique content. Our partnership hopes to combine our unequalled ability to work with brands, with FashionTV’s sheer global recognition and marketing power.”

Upton continued, adding: “The ‘I Want To Be A Trillionaire’ song is loved by millions of fans all over the world and we look forward to bringing ‘The Trillionaire’ game, inspired by this popular song, adding a touch of glamour and bling to our industry-leading portfolio.”

Shai Kaplun, Chief Operating Officer at FashionTV Gaming Group, said: “At FashionTV Gaming Group, we are committed to blending the high lifestyle and luxury of our brand with the unique thrill of the online casino experience. NetEnt’s unrivalled ability to deliver world-class slot games that are always a step ahead of the competition makes them an ideal brand to business partner to further our presence in the gaming industry.”

NetEnt’s Branded New Slots

In addition to the above, NetEnt, which recently struck an agreement with Blueprint Gaming, also announced two new branded video slots. Yesterday (February 4), NetEnt revealed that it will be developing a video slot based on Gordon Ramsay’s reality TV show Hell’s Kitchen which will reportedly include the famous chef’s catchphrases. Unfortunately, the game won’t release until later this year and NetEnt have yet to reveal any additional details.

In addition to the Hell’s Kitchen-branded slot, NetEnt also revealed that it will be releasing its Street Fighter II: The World Warrior Slot based on the arcade game of the same name. The slot will reportedly include eight selectable characters (Ryu, Ken, E. Honda, Guile, Chun-Li, Blanka, Zangief, and Dhalsim), several boss fights, and will feature similar graphics and a soundtrack to the original game. The game will launch May 2020.

Bryan Upton said of the Hell’s Kitchen slot: “Gordan Ramsay is a true rock star of the restaurant world. His strong personality and use of colourful vocabulary as front-man of Hell’s Kitchen have earned him legend status as a multi-Michelin starred celebrity chef, with fans all over the world. Just as importantly, this allows us to produce a true slot with a strong narrative and a lot of adult fun! We can’t wait to see what our players think of what we have in store for them.”

Then, in a statement about the upcoming Street Fighter II: The World Warrior Slot, Upton said: “The release of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior took the arcade world by storm in the early nineties and today it is widely considered as the ultimate classic video game that continues to entertain fans almost 30 years later.”
