The game has become popular thanks to its numerous special features including an additional reel, a bonus game and its Free Spins feature. It features a great soundtrack and some of the best animations we’ve seen, but does mean it’s worth playing?
Spellcraft in a Nutshell
Spellcraft is a five-reel and 27 payline slot that is set in a creepy forest. Symbols in the game include a book of spells, a cauldron, a voodoo doll, a scarecrow and black cat, potion vials and spooky letters.
The three sister witches also act as symbols, each having a different effect on the game. The green witch acts as the wild which substitutes all symbols except the scatter and bonus. The wild also expands to cover the entire reel when the Power of Three feature is triggered.
The blue witch acts as the scatter and landing three or more of these symbols will trigger the Free Spins and Ghost Reel feature. Finally, the purple witch acts as the bonus symbol and landing three or more will trigger the bonus game.
When you trigger the Free Spins feature, the blue witch will add a sixth reel to the game known as the Ghost Reel. Depending on the number of scatter symbols you landed to trigger the feature, you’ll be awarded a certain number of spins (Nine spins for three scatters, 12 spins for four scatters and 15 spins for five scatters). The Ghost Reel is greyed out and landing another three or more scatters will trigger even more bonus spins. The Free Spins feature ends when there are no more spins left to play.
You can also trigger the Power of Three feature when you land all three witch symbols on one spin. When this happens, the wild symbol will expand to cover its entire reel and help you make additional wins.
Lastly, the bonus game feature can be triggered by landing three or more purple witch symbols. You’ll be presented with a new screen and will be given five objects. You’ll need to select one across four rounds and each object hides a special prize including multiplers or cash prizes.
You’ll also be able to collect a ‘Disclosure’ which opens all the objects in that round or collect ingredients to create the Felicitous potion. When the potion is created, you’ll an additional 30 bets!

Spellcraft is a great online slot that has fun animations, several exciting special features and a unique soundtrack. The slot has an RTP of 96.4% which is pretty high for a slot game and could help you land additional wins!
