Yggdrasil Launches In Latin America With Patagonia Entertainment
Yggdrasil has officially launched in Latin America following a content agreement with Patagonia Entertainment.
The software provider, known for games such as The One Armed Bandit and Yokozuna Clash, announced the news this week, revealing that it had just completed a “landmark” content partnership with the Latin American casino operator.
Under the agreement, Yggdrasil will provide the operator with its entire catalogue of video slots including Wild Robo Factory, Jackpot Raiders, Vikings Go Berserk, Vikings Go To Hell and so many others.
The partnership enhances Patagonia’s game selection and extends Yggdrasil’s player reach to Mexico, Colombia and other Latin American markets. What’s more, Patagonia’s customers will also be provided access to Yggdrasil’s BOOST tools for a unique player experience.
Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said in a statement: “I’m delighted to make our first entry into LatAm by partnering with Patagonia, where we will combine its platform and regional experience with our technology and extensive software development expertise to offer its network of brands with a unique gaming experience. Our aim is to deliver the best casino game experience available, and this partnership is a major step towards achieving that within the rapidly growing regulated LatAm market.”
Victor Arias, the Global Business Development Manager at Patagonia Entertainment, added: “Partnering with Yggdrasil and enabling our expanding operator network to integrate their award-winning content is very exciting, and we can’t wait to get started. The growing LatAm market presents gaming brands with a host of opportunities, and we are delighted to bring Yggdrasil’s best-in-class casino offering to our regional customers.”
Yggdrasil In The News
The news comes just days after Yggdrasil announced a huge jackpot win. A mobile Casumo Casino player hit headlines this week after winning a giant €3 million jackpot on Yggdrasil’s progressive jackpot slot Joker Millions.
According to Yggdrasil, the Finnish player won the huge sum after wagering 50 cents on their mobile device. What’s more, the huge win is the third large jackpot payout trigger over the last ten months. In April, one lucky user won a jackpot of €3.1 million on Empire Fortune and in November 2018 a user won €7.8 million on Joker Millions.
Speaking about the giant wins, Elmqvist said: “To have three mega jackpot prizes drop in just 10 months is amazing, and I’m delighted we’re able to reward loyal Yggdrasil slot fans with gigantic prizes. This is a dream come true for such a new mobile player and we’re thrilled it took place on Casumo, one of our major partners.”
Anna Pistika, Casumo’s Head of Casino, added: “We’re thrilled to see our players win huge cash prizes. It’s particularly pleasing that it’s a new customer, proving that anyone can win, at any time. This also shows the power of high-quality progressive jackpots such as Yggdrasil’s Joker Millions, and the excitement they create. Huge congratulations to the winner from everyone at Casumo.”
