The Borgata Wins “Property of the Year” at Global Gaming Awards
Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has been named “Property of the Year” at the Global Gaming Awards at this year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E).
The Borgata is the first casino in Atlantic City that introduces sports betting. This year in summer, the casino launched its mobile sports betting service.
Britney Spears, Cher, Barry Manilow, Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, Camila Cabello and Ringo Starr are on the Borgata’s list of performers in 2018.
Established 15 years ago, the casino hotel is known for its Savor Borgata Culinary Series events, which includes celebrity-chef hosted dinners, tasting events and an outdoor food festival.
Marcus Glover, President of Borgata, commented on the award: “This award is welcome validation of the hard work contributed by every member of our Borgata team as we celebrate 15 years of leadership and innovation in Atlantic City,”
“Since entering the market in 2003, Borgata has made it our mission to grow and invest in not only our property and product, but in our team members and guests; offering an unrivalled experience to anyone who walks through our doors.” Glover added.
Winners of the Global Gaming Awards were chosen by a committee of 60 judges on Monday night at the Sands Expos Las Vegas. Each award category consists of a list of 10 finalists.
The Borgata was the only Atlantic City casino on the finalist list of “Property of the Year”. Other casinos on the list include Connecticut’s Foxwood Resort Casino and Mohegan Sun Casino as well as Mount Airy Casino Resort in Pennsylvania.
