Swedish Lucky Casino Player Triggers Gigantic Mega Moolah Jackpot
A Swedish Lucky Casino player has made history after triggering the largest euro jackpot win on a Microgaming slot.
The lucky winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, managed to trigger the gigantic €14,239,532.84 jackpot while playing Mega Moolah at Lucky Casino on August 17th, 2020 and helped make history along the way.
According to reports, some of the records the Lucky Casino win has broken include that the win is the fourth largest online jackpot win ever, that it is the highest ever online slot win for Lucky Casino, and that it is the single biggest euro jackpot win made in Sweden at an online casino.
Like with all Microgaming jackpot winnings, the gigantic win will be paid out as one lump sum rather than in staggered payments. However, this process isn’t common and is usually limited to online wins made on Microgaming jackpot titles.
Speaking about the win, the Lucky Casino customer said: “Somewhere deep down I probably believed in the dream all along, but when I won the jackpot, I thought it was a joke. It was only when Lucky Casino called me that I realised that my life will suddenly be different. It is impossible to put into words how happy I am – I think it will take a while before I understand how much money I have won.”

Recent Microgaming Wins
The Lucky Casino win also marks the eighth millionaire made this year on a Microgaming jackpot network. So far this year, seven other wins have turned ordinary people into millionaires overnight, and, according to Microgaming, the total amount paid out by game developer so far in 2020 totals at more than €30 million.
In July, a UK-based Spin Casino player triggered a gigantic €1,650,382.89 win on a €3 wager on Microgaming’s Major Millions slot. The lucky user became the seventh millionaire made on the Microgaming jackpot network, equating to around one millionaire a month so far in 2020.
Other wins made on the Major Millions slot this year include a €1,650,910.31 jackpot in March and a €1,203,349.99 jackpot trigger back in June. Meanwhile, one Jackpot City casino play won €10,735,716.84 on Mega Moolah back in April and multiple users have made wins on the recently released slots Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah and Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah jackpot slots.
