Playtech Partners With GVC To Launch Brand New Live Casino Game
Playtech has partnered with GVC to launch a brand new live casino game.
The leading game developer has launched its new Majority Rules Speed Blackjack exclusively with GVC Holdings. The game, which was designed with community play in mind, will reportedly be made available worldwide in July when it launched with other casino and gambling websites.
According to Playtech, Majority Rules Speed Blackjack is comprised of two modes which the game will choose depending on the number of players participating. In the Majority Rules mode, all players will be required to vote on whether to Hit, Stand, Split, or Double. In the Best Strategy mode, however, players hands will be automatically resolved according to the best Blackjack strategy.
The launch of Majority Rules Speed Blackjack comes after Playtech launched its live casino slot game, another game which was developed with a community experience in mind. The game allows multiple users to participate as the slot’s reels continuously spin and a dealer interacts with players.
Speaking about the new game, Playtech Live Casino’s CEO Edo Haitin said: “Innovation and experience-led gameplay are at the core of our product strategy, and Majority Rules Speed Blackjack delivers on both counts. The success of our community Live Slots concept demonstrates player demand for interactive & fun games – the experience you would enjoy when playing alongside others in a land-based casino.
“We’re confident the combination of engaging classic Blackjack gameplay and the new collaborative, community play will be a major hit with players and will, of course, create the proper Speed variant for Blackjack.”
New Games And Expanding Player Reach
Matt Charlesworth, the Head of Live Casino at GVC, added: “Everyone at GVC was delighted to work closely with Playtech on Majority Rules Speed Blackjack, through all stages of concept, design and development – and we’re excited to offer this first of its type game to our players across the GVC brands.
“Majority Rules Speed Blackjack captures a real community feel with the unique ‘Ask The Audience’ voting approach to in-game decision-making. The game is fully scalable, offering something very different for players, without deviating from classic European Blackjack with popular sidebets.”
The launch of Majority Rules Speed Blackjack comes after the release of several other online casino games including Spin & Win Roulette, Live Cashback Blackjack, and after Playtech has expanded its player reach by striking agreements with Meridianbet and SlotsMillion operator Alea.
