Playtech, Microgaming And Pragmatic Play Release New Video Slots
Playtech, Microgaming, NetEnt and Pragmatic Play have all released new slots this week.
Microgaming this week unveiled its latest slot Boom Pirates, a game developed by independent studio Foxium exclusively for Microgaming. The game, which uses a 5×4 layout with 1,024 paylines, follows Captain Mary as she sails the Jolly Roger in search of treasure at the high seas.
The new slot includes Microgaming’s new Wonderways and Foxify features which change gameplay drastically. The Boom Pirates feature, powered by Wonderways, expands the reels to 9×6 and increases the paylines to 10 million. The Foxify feature, meanwhile, increases the chances of players triggering features and increases players’ wagers by 50%.
What’s more, Captain Mary herself can appear during the game to transform non-winning symbols into a five-of-a-kind winning combination. Players can also trigger the game’s free spins feature by landing three Yo-Ho-Ho Scatter symbols. The Wonderways feature can be triggered during the free spins to help make more winning combinations and landing additional Scatter symbols can lead to additional spins and big prizes.

Playtech’s Justice League Slot
Playtech launched its Justice League Comic slot this week exclusively at Paddy Power Casino. The game is another in Playtech’s collection of DC Comics-based jackpot slots that are packed with special features, include visuals based on the comic superheroes and provide players with numerous chances to win big.
The brand new slot uses a 5×3 layout with 25 paylines and includes symbols based on DC superheroes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman. The slot includes several special features each triggered by landing a Joker, Cheetah or Darkseid symbol on the reels.
The special features include a stacked 3×3 Mystery Symbol which is added to the reels with a respin, the Moving Wild bonus where users trigger several respins with Wild symbols that move to the left with each spin, and also the Coin Respin where players earn several respins with blank symbols, coin symbols and 2x symbols that double the value of all coins.

Pragmatic Play has also launched a brand new slot. Titled Tree Of Riches, the new slot uses a simple 1×3 slot that is packed with numerous special features including Respin and Spin Until You Win bonus features. According to Pragmatic Play, the symbol is based on a Far-Eastern theme and includes bags of money as its symbols.
The tree-bag filled with riches acts as the Wild symbol and substitutes for all symbols to help make winning combinations. What’s more, the symbol also acts as a random multiplier of 5x, 8x and 10x. Landing two Wild symbols with a blank symbol triggers the Respin feature. When this happens, the blank symbol will continually respin until it creates a winning combination.
