Online Casino User Wins €1.5M On Playtech’s ‘Gladiator: Road To Rome’
An online casino user has made headlines after winning a giant jackpot on a Playtech video slot.
An anonymous player from Codere, a South American and Spanish-based online casino, struck a huge jackpot this week when playing Playtech’s Gladiator: Road To Rome slot. In total, the lucky gambler bagged €1,510,172.82 jackpot (Around £1,370,587.55).
The giant jackpot is now Spain’s biggest casino jackpot ever, beating out the previous record from May this year of €130,000 (Around £117,984.10) which was won on Playtech’s DC Comics jackpot slot. The new win bumps the total amount of Playtech’s jackpot payouts to €7.3 million.

Playtech’s Gladiator Slot
Gladiator: Road To Rome is Playtech’s sequel to its 2008 slot based on the 2000 Oscar-nominated film Gladiator. The sequel slot, which was released in 2017, uses a 5×3 layout with 25 paylines and features unique symbols based on characters from the 2000 film and much more.
