NetEnt, Quickspin And Yggdrasil Announce Brand New Video Slots
NetEnt, Quickspin and Yggdrasil are several software providers who have all announced new slots.
Earlier this week, NetEnt announced the launch of its latest Asian-inspired slot Sweety Honey Fruity. The game uses a 5×3 layout with 15 paylines and includes Asian-inspired fruit-based symbols such as dragon fruit, melons and star fruit along with traditional playing card letters.
In the game, landing winning combinations of identical symbols will trigger the Free Spins feature where users can win up to five spins. Then, during the feature players can land additional spins by landing more identical winning combinations. Unfortunately, the game features no other bonus games.

Yggdrasil’s Upcoming Slot
Yggdrasil has unveiled its upcoming slot Age Of Asgard, a game based on Norse mythology that uses a 5×3 layout with 40 paylines. What’s unique about Yggdrasil’s latest slot is that the game actually uses two 5×3 reels for a huge game reel, providing customers with a chance to make additional winning combinations.
The game is packed with special features including its large Wild symbols which are 1×3 in height and can nudge to fill an entire reel. When this happens, players are automatically given an additional respin. Meanwhile, regular wilds substitute for other symbols to help create additional wins.
However, large Wild symbols can clash to spawn up to four smaller Wild symbols. When these land on high-paying symbols, the entire symbol transforms into a stacked symbol with Wilds. Software provider Quickspin also announced the release of new slot Golden Glyph, the firm’s first reactor game based on Ancient Egypt. The slot uses a 7×7 layout but rather than using paylines, it uses a brand new tumbling mechanic in which winning symbols are removed from the reels by Eye of Horus with the help of some magic.
The slot is packed with special features which includes four unique Power-Ups including a Power Wild which creates a winning cluster each spin, Blaze Of Fire which pays for all high and low-paying symbols in its row and column, the Eye of Horus which pays for a randomly chosen low-paying symbol, and the Golden Scarab which adds four to ten random Wild symbols onto the reels.
