Microgaming, Yggdrasil, And Play’n GO Launch New Video Slots

Microgaming’s Anderthals
Anderthals, a new slot developed by Just For The Win exclusively for Microgaming, follows cave-couple Andy and Annie Anderthal as they navigate their pre-historic world in search of wins. The game, which uses a 5×4 layout with 40 paylines, has an RTP of 96.12% and is packed with fun visuals and several unique gameplay mechanics.
Anderthals has four Wild symbols which vary in size and all substitute for other symbols but Feature Symbols to create more wins. Two Wild symbols include Multipliers of 2x and 3x to boost all winnings. Feature Symbols, meanwhile, activate some of the game’s various special features.
This includes a Free Spins mode of up to eight free spins. Landing two additional Free Spins Feature Spots will trigger an additional two spins. Finally, Yggdrasil launched a new slot this week titled PopRocks. The brand new video slot was developed by AvatarUX Studios under the YG Masters programme for Yggdrasil. The game, which uses a 5×3 layout with 486 paylines, has an RTP of 96.8% and uses Yggdrasil’s brand new PopWins gameplay mechanic.
In the game, every winning combination will pop and two new symbols will be added to the reels, extending the height of each of the reels up to a maximum of seven symbols high. Other features in the game include Multipliers which increase by one point with every seven symbols that pop.
There are also Unlock Wilds which are triggered when all reels are expanded to seven symbols high. When this happens, one Wild is awarded randomly and Multipliers increase by two points for every seven pops rather than by one point, helping you make bigger wins and winning combinations.
