Microgaming released a new video slot on April 21st. The game, titled Arena Of Gold, was developed by All41 Studios exclusively for Microgaming and whisks players away to Ancient Rome where gladiators fight for winning combinations and riches. It uses a 5×3 layout with 25 paylines and it has an RTP of 96.2%.

Symbols in the game include various gladiators and warriors, as well as the traditional playing card letters and symbols. The game is packed with several fun features including Wild symbols which substitute for all symbols but Scatters and Coins, Scatter symbols which only appears on the first, third, and fifth reels, and a Free Spins mode of up to five spins with a chance to trigger more.

There’s also a Golden Re-Spins feature which awards jackpot prizes. To claim this, players simply need to collect six or more Coin Symbols during the Re-Spin, with more coins re-triggering the Re-Spins until players win large prizes.

Play’n GO’s Rocking Slot

Play’n GO has released another musical-themed video slot this week. The game is based on the band Annihilator and features tracks from the group’s latest album Ballistic, Sadistic, and lead singer Jeff Waters appears as a Wild symbol within the game too. The slot uses a 5×3 layout with 10 paylines, has an RTP of 94.2%, and is packed with several exciting features.

Jeff Waters as the Wild substitutes for all symbols but the Scatter and Bonus. Meanwhile, landing three Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins mode where eight spins are awarded, and landing three Bonus Symbols triggers the Fun Palace feature where players can win cash prizes and trigger the Set The World On Fire feature which features Expanded Wilds which move along the reels to create winning combinations.

Play’n GO CPO Martin Zettergen said of the game and collaboration: “There was a real collaborative effort to give this game its level of realism and detail, which included visiting Jeff’s UK studio to capture the voice and video recordings; we worked together every step of the way. Music fans will love the nods to their iconic songs, albums, and characters throughout the game. At the same time, slot lovers will enjoy the fabulous gameplay and the variety of unique features that the game contains; there really is something for everyone.”
