Microgaming, Play’n GO, NetEnt, and Yggdrasil Release New Slots
This week saw the release of several brand new slots from Microgaming, NetEnt, Play’n GO, and Yggdrasil. The brand new slots are based on all new themes including rockstar Ozzy Osbourne, an adventurous merchant named Aldo, as well as two opposing slots with a Christmas and summer Tiki theme.
Microgaming released its new slot Tiki Mania at the beginning of the week, unveiling the slot on Tuesday in a special announcement. The game, which uses a 5×3 layout with 10 paylines, was developed by Fortune Factory Studios and follows a Hawaiian princess named Kaia who escapes to a tropical island.
The game includes a plethora of special features including four multi-coloured Wild symbols which substitute for other symbols and multiply wins. Other features include Re-Spins, Nudges, and Free Spins, as well as a Jackpot where players can win one of two big jackpot prizes.

NetEnt also launched a brand new video slot this week, the eagerly awaited Ozzy Osbourne Video Slot. Based on the Prince of Darkness himself, the slot uses a 5×3 layout with 20 paylines and features licensed music from the musician’s solo discography. What’s more, it’s packed with special features including Re-Spins, Free Spins and Wild substitutions.
The game also benefits from a Symbol Charge Up meter which, once activated, awards the player with one of several unique bonuses including automatic wins, symbol upgrades, randomly generated Wild symbols, and multipliers. Yggdrasil launched their new video slot on Thursday this week, revealing in an announcement that players follow a travelling merchant named Aldo as he explores faraway cities and cultures never seen before. The slot uses a 5×5 layout with 65 paylines and includes four brand new cities to explore.
Algo’s Journey includes several notable special features including Wild Times which generates random Wild symbols and adds multipliers, Wild substitutions, four City Free Spins features based on various cities that each have their own unique benefits, a separate Free Spins mode, and so much more.

Start The Christmas Celebrations With Play’n GO
Play’n GO also unveiled a new slot on Thursday in a news post shared on the firm’s website. In the post, the game developer revealed that their new slot Xmas Magic is themed on Christmas and was released this week to kick-start the holiday celebrations around the world.
The slot itself uses a 5×3 layout with 50 paylines and includes an assortment of Christmas-themed symbols. Special features in the game include a gambling mechanic where players can double or quadruple their win by gambling on the colour or suit of a randomly dealt playing card. Other features include Scatters which trigger the slot’s Free Spins, as well as Wild substitutions.
