Microgaming Announces New Content Partnership With Gold Coin Studios

Microgaming Content Deal Gold Coin Studios

Leading game provider Microgaming has announced a new content partnership with independent game developer Gold Coin Studios.

Microgaming announced the partnership this week, revealing that it and the Reno-based Gold Coin Studios have signed an exclusive distribution agreement, similarly to fellow game studio SpinPlay. The two companies have already been working together as Gold Coin Studios has released several slots through Microgaming’s content platform.

The studio, which launched in 2018, released its first slot, Arthur’s Gold, through Microgaming in July 2020. Three other games followed, including Aquatic Treasures, Animals Of Africa, and Bushi Sushi. The development studio’s fifth slot, the pirate-themed Silver Seas slot, was unveiled on May 20th and features Microgaming’s EpicStrike mechanic. Gold Coin Studios’ sixth slot, Treasure Tracks, will launch in July, followed by more content in the second half of this year.

John Duffy, the CEO at Gold Coin Studios, said in a statement: “All of us here at Gold Coin Studios are thrilled to work with Microgaming and have had a brilliant experience so far. Our extensive land-based gaming experience has given us a great base to work from and we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got coming up!”

Andrew Booth, the Director of Games at Microgaming, added: “Gold Coin Studios have already given us some great games over the past year since they joined Microgaming. I’m looking forward to seeing them continue to cement their place in our roster of exclusive studios.”

Américo Loureiro, the Director at the Solverde Group, said in a statement: “We are very pleased to partner with Microgaming.
