Microgaming And Big Time Gaming Release Two Brand New Video Slots
Leading game developers Microgaming and Big Time Gaming have both announced the launch of two new video slots. The games are both packed with plenty of special features and have unique visuals to offer players a fun experience. Take a look below to discover more about the new slots.
Microgaming’s Beastly Slot
Microgaming released its new video slot on June 23rd. The game, titled Aurora Beast Hunter, was developed by Just For The Win exclusively for Microgaming and takes players on a 90s-inspired adventure in which a brave heroine embarks on a quest to defeat the horrifying beasts threatening her life.
The game uses a 3x4x3x4x3 layout with 40 paylines and it has an RTP rate of 96.27%. Symbols in the game include guns, nunchucks, shuriken, the heroine herself, as well as the traditional playing card letters and numbers.
Aurora Beast Hunter is also packed with dozens of special features including several beast-themed Expanding, Sticky and Stretching Wilds, all of which help players create more winning combinations. Big Time Gaming also released a new video slot this week titled Star Clusters. The slot is based on Big Time Gaming’s Megacluster game engine and is loosely inspired by classic arcade game Bejeweled. Rather than using paylines, players are required to create clusters of matching symbols to create winning combinations.
As part of the Megacluster engine, each symbol that is part of a winning cluster will split into four smaller symbols which helps create more winning clusters. When these smaller symbols create wins, they explode and are replaced by new symbols.
In addition to the Megacluster mechanics, Star Clusters also includes several other special features including Regular and Special Gold Wild symbols which help create clusters, as well as a Free Spins mechanic triggered when five or more reactions have occurred. When this happens, players are offered two free spins on an 8×8 grid.
