LeoVegas Group Brands Announce Premiership Rugby Sponsorship
The LeoVegas Group has announced a multi-year partnership with Premiership Rugby.
Under the agreement, LeoVegas’ BetUK.com website becomes the Premiership Rugby’s official betting partner while 21.co.uk becomes the sport’s official casino partner. The sponsorship is due to begin during the 2019-20 season.
According to the official announcement, the partnership includes watching and betting exclusivity as well as a 24/7 stream of Premiership Rugby at BetUK.com which provides customers with “dynamic opportunities around in-play betting”.
Both firms have stated that they want the agreement to act as a platform to raise awareness of problem gambling and to promote safer gaming. Both firms also pointed to their partnerships with Epic Risk Management who fights against problem gambling by delivering education and consulting to those at-risk.
As part of the agreement, both LeoVegas and Premiership Rugby have pledged to support Safer Gambling Week and will promote the Gamble Responsibly campaign at Gallagher Premiership Rugby matches.
