EveryMatrix Launches New Game Development Firm Spearhead Studios
EveryMatrix has announced the launch of its brand new game development studio.
The casino operator, which owns sites such as PlayFrank and Fantasino, announced the news this week, revealing that the firm had created a brand new game development studio known as Spearhead Studios formed from an existing and experienced team from the recently acquired Gaming Innovation Group (GiG).
According to EveryMatrix’s official announcement, the new studio is based in Marbella, Spain, and is led by Mathias Larsson, the former Managing Director at GiG. The online gaming veteran reportedly has 11 years of management experienced and has worked for established firms including Ezugi and HoGaming.
The team, who previously released the critically acclaimed slot Book Of Souls under GiG, will begin working on new casino games. Although EveryMatrix’s announcement failed to state exactly to expect, the firm did hint that the studio are working on releasing blackjack and roulette table games.

An Exciting Update
EveryMatrix’s announcement of the new game studio comes at an exciting time as we discovered that PlayFrank, operated by EveryMatrix, has been taken down temporarily. Users who visit the site are greeted with a message that the site is working on “a new casino experience in the UK”.
However, EveryMatrix announced in August that it had a decision to pull out of the UK market after the UK Gambling Commission revoked its license for unknown reasons. The message implies that PlayFrank may be returning in a new form to gamblers based in the United Kingdom.
What’s even stranger about the announcement is that PlayFrank seems to be only EveryMatrix-operated site displaying the message, suggesting that PlayFrank may be the only online casino returning to the UK. Regardless, no other information has been given right now and the new message asks visitors to “check back shortly”.
