Casino operator Aspire Global has announced the completion of its acquisition of GMS Entertainment.

The operator, which powers popular casino sites such as Wixstars and Generation VIP, announced the news this week, revealing that it had completed its €13.1 million acquisition of GMS Entertainment, the owner of popular software provider and games developer Pariplay.

According to reports, Aspire Global now owns 100% of the shares of GMS Entertainment and the move will help to expand the operators game collection at its online casinos. Pariplay was founded back in 2010 and has since developed dozens of casino games including slots, table games and scratchcards.

What’s more, Pariplay also holds a license to operate in the United States, potentially allowing Aspire Global to break into the jurisdiction within the months to come. The software provider is also set to acquire a license to operate in Denmark soon, enhancing its player reach across the world.

Pariplay also operates one of the leading game aggregator platforms worldwide which provide casino operators with access to thousands of online casino games from various software providers such as Play’n GO,  Yggdrasil, Microgaming, Eyecon, NetEnt, Scientific Gaming and many more.

Aspire Global CEO Tsachi Maimon said in a statement: “We are excited to welcome the Pariplay team at Aspire Global. The acquisition of Pariplay is in line with our M&A-strategy focusing on B2B-growth and external game sales. The integration of Pariplay grants us control of yet another crucial part of the iGaming value chain – cutting costs, broadening the game portfolio and providing a channel to sell and distribute proprietary games outside [the] Aspire Global network.”

Aspire Global In The News

The news comes as Aspire Global continues its expansion throughout the world and continues to build on its own brand. Back in August, Aspire Global announced that it had been granted a bingo license in the United Kindom, allowing it to offer bingo games to its UK-based players.

In September, Aspire Global launched a sportsbook at Mr Play, one of the operators most popular online casino sites. Meanwhile, the operator has been busy striking deals with software providers to enhance its game offering. In July, Aspire partnered with Red Tiger Gaming, allowing the operator to offer Red Tiger content on its casino sites.

What’s more, Aspire Global also managed to acquire licenses to operate in Sweden and Ireland, expanding its player reach throughout Europe and the rest of the world. Currently, Aspire Global possesses licenses for the UK, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, Sweden and Malta, and this is expected to grow within the coming year.
